â ď¸ Laziza AI or AI qualification feature is still in development and is currently being evaluated and patched often. Users should expect occasional inaccuracies in qualification conclusions.
AI Qualification reads every new job your scanner finds, scores how well it fits your team, and only lets jobs at or above your threshold through to the Auto Bidder. Jobs below the threshold are not lost: they are saved to Example Jobs with the AI's reasoning, so you can review them and fine-tune.
Think of it as an automatic gut-check before you spend connects. Your scanner filters still do the first pass (keywords, budget, client filters), and AI Qualification adds a second, smarter pass that actually reads the job.
Where to find it
Open any scanner and go to the AI Qualification tab (next to Alerts and Auto Bidder). Settings are per scanner, so each scanner can have its own setup.
How to turn it on
Open the scanner and go to the AI Qualification tab.
Switch AI Qualification enabled to ON.
Pick a qualification model (GPT-4o Mini is the default and works well for most teams).
Optional: describe your Ideal Client Profile and add Hard Filters.
Set your Minimum Match Score (38% is recommended for most agencies).
Optional: click Run preview at the bottom to see how your settings would score your recent jobs.
Save.

Note: AI Qualification works together with the Auto Bidder. Make sure the Auto Bidder is enabled on the scanner, otherwise new jobs are not qualified.

How much it costs
The qualification itself is free. A bid sent on a job that AI Qualification evaluated costs a small surcharge on top of the regular proposal price (currently 0.5 credit). Jobs it filters out, or that never get a bid, cost nothing. See Article 7 for the full breakdown.
How do I train Laziza AI?
Training Laziza is easy: it will automatically learn from your Upwork behavior over time. However, you can help her by submitting feedback to proposals and opportunities: look for the thumb up / thumb down buttons across the product.
Here are the available ways to submit feedback to Laziza AI:
Using Dashboard > Proposals table;
Using Scanner > Auto Bidding > Latest Opportunities table;
Using the Proposal/Opportunity details drawer which is displayed when you click on any row in either of the two above;
During proposal preview generation;
In your slack / telegram successful proposal submission alerts
What if Laziza disqualified a job that I actually want to apply for?
In such case, you have 24 hours to still submit the proposal to the job in question. However, we don't recommend to submit proposals to jobs older that 4 hours. Also, if the job has become unavailable since that time - the proposal may fail.
How do I reset my Laziza AI training?
If you noticed that your Laziza AI cover letter generator or qualification took a wrong turn during your training, or you would like to start the training from scratch, you have the following options:
Just keep providing new feedback - Laziza can adapt over time even if your current training is different from the past. It prioritizes recent interactions over the old ones to make decisions.
