Your profile photo is one of the most important elements of your Upwork profile. It’s one of the first things clients see when you apply for jobs, so it should look clear, professional, and stand out.
In the Profile Image Review section, your current photo is analyzed and given a score from 0 to 100. Most photos typically score around 50, while a well-optimized image can reach close to 100.
Next to your score, you’ll see clear recommendations explaining how to improve it. We check things like:

There is strong contrast between you and the background

All templates are already sized to 500 × 500 pixels, which is the recommended size for Upwork.
