Sending Messages and Using the Chat Box

Sending a message

All messages are sent on behalf of the Business Manager who originally submitted the bid.

If you have multiple Business Managers available, you can switch between them by clicking the Business Manager name in the chat and selecting another from the dropdown.

If some options are greyed out, it means only one Business Manager is assigned to this conversation.

Message vs. Comment

There are two types of communication in GigRadar CRM:

Use Comments for internal notes to your team without the client seeing them.

When a message is marked as a Comment, it will appear with a yellow background in the chatroom to visually differentiate it from regular messages. This indicates the message is internal and only visible to the team, not to the client. It’s used for internal coordination or highlighting important notes among teammates within the conversation. The yellow background acts as a clear, non-intrusive cue for visibility restriction and internal communication.

Attaching files

You can attach files to both messages and comments:

  • Copy and paste directly into the chat box

  • Drag and drop files into the chat box

Attachment limits: up to 5 files per message, maximum 20 MB per file.
