To receive push notifications from GigRadar CRM, two things need to be in place: GigRadar must have permission to send notifications through your browser, and your operating system must be configured to forward those notifications to your desktop. Follow the steps below in order.
Step 1: Enable GigRadar CRM Inbox Notifications
Before configuring your system, grant GigRadar permission to send notifications through your browser.
Navigate to the CRM page in GigRadar.
Click the bell icon located at the top right of the left sidebar.
When prompted, click Allow to grant notification permission.
Refresh the page to apply the change.
Note: If you accidentally clicked Block, you'll need to manually update your browser's site permissions for GigRadar before proceeding.
Step 2: Enable Notifications on Your Operating System
Once GigRadar has browser-level permission, configure your OS to display those notifications on your desktop. Follow the section that matches your system.
Ubuntu Linux
1. Go to System Settings -> Notifications
2. Enable notifications if not already.
3. Enable notifications from your browser, in this case, Firefox.
4. Make sure to disable "Do not disturb" mode on your system, otherwise, our notifications (and others) will not be shown.
Windows
1. Go to System Settings -> Notifications
2. Enable notifications if not already.
3. Enable notifications from your browser, e.g Chrome, Brave, Firefox.
4. Make sure to disable "Do not disturb" mode on your system, otherwise, our notifications (and others) will not be shown.
macOS
1. Go to System Settings -> Notifications
2. Choose when you want your system to show notifications.
3. Select the app you want your system to show notifications from, in our case, the browser, e.g Chrome, Brave, Firefox.
4. Choose how and when you want to show the notifications from this particular app.
5. Make sure to disable "Do not disturb" mode on your system, otherwise, our notifications (and others) will not be shown.
