AI Qualification - Minimum Match Score and scoring weights

Written by Vadym O

Every job that passes your Hard Filters gets a match score. Only jobs scoring at or above your Minimum Match Score are sent to the Auto Bidder. Everything lower is saved to Example Jobs with its AI reasoning.

Setting the Minimum Match Score

Use the slider in the Minimum Match Score section. You can set it from 20% to 80%. We recommend 38% for most agencies.

  • Move it right (Stricter): fewer bids, better-fit jobs. Good when connects are tight or your win rate is low.

  • Move it left (Wider net): more bids, more variety. Good when volume is low or the scanner is new.

Tip: change it in small steps (for example 5% at a time), run a Live preview, and check Example Jobs for a few days before changing it again.

What can lower a job's score

Besides the main score, a few rules can lower or block a job:

  • The freelancer's role does not match what the job needs

  • The freelancer's location does not match (a bigger penalty if the client requires a location)

  • The client clearly contradicts your Ideal Client Profile

  • The job goes against something the scanner learned from your feedback

  • The job explicitly excludes agencies while your scanner excludes individual-only jobs (this one disqualifies the job)

Each rule that applies is listed in the job's AI reasoning.

Advanced: scoring weights

Click Advanced: scoring weights to choose how much each source counts toward the final score. The weights always add up to 100%.

Source

What the job is compared against

Learned memory

What this scanner has learned from your thumbs up and down

Freelancer profile

Skills, rates and portfolio of the freelancer who will bid

Proposal similarity

Your past proposals on similar jobs and how they performed

Agency profile

Your agency positioning, case studies and ideal-client story

Scanner query

The scanner's own search terms and filters

When to adjust:

  • Freelancer profile up: the bidding freelancer has a very specific skill set.

  • Proposal similarity up: you have a long history of proposals and replies on this type of work.

  • Learned memory up: you give regular feedback on jobs and want it to count more.

  • Agency profile up: your agency profile is detailed and well positioned.

Most teams can leave the weights as they are. Click Set to Recommended at any time to go back to the default.
