🤔 Why Your Profile Might Turn Private

To avoid your profile turning private, it's crucial to maintain consistent activity on Upwork. Here are some key points to remember:

  • 🆕 For New Freelancers: Your profile might turn private if you don’t earn on Upwork within 90 days of your first proposal or if you don’t submit any proposal in your first 90 days.

  • 👴🏻 For Established Freelancers: Your profile could go private if you don’t have earnings on Upwork for over two years.

👣 Steps to Make Your Profile Public

🧍🏻 For Individual Freelancers and Non-Exclusive agency members:

  • Navigate to Upwork.

  • Go to Settings > Profile Settings.


🔒 For Exclusive Agency Members:

⚠️ Only the Agency's Admin can change this setting!

  • While logged in under an agency, go to Find Work > Agency Roster.
