For chats, we added several statuses, so you could track each conversation more conveniently without opening it. Here is a list of available statuses:
Interview - chat with the client after submitting a proposal/reply for the client's invitation
Contract - indicates a chat room, where a contract was opened between you and the client
One on one - chat rooms, which were created after the direct message to your account
Group - includes some group events like newsletters or announcements from Upwork
