Understanding New Dashboard: Core Metrics

The Proposal Sending Stats section provides a unified view of your outbound performance through a single table with three switchable perspectives: Manager, Freelancer, and Scanner. This flexible structure allows you to analyze performance at different operational levels without leaving the section.

Across all views, you’ll find essential performance metrics such as Bids, Replies, PVR (Proposal View Rate), LRR (Lead Reply Rate), and Score. In the Scanner view, additional metrics like Connect Spent and CPR (Cost Per Reply) are included to provide deeper insight into cost efficiency at the automation level. Built-in filters make it easy to refine and analyze your data while staying within your selected view.

Core Performance Metrics

Understanding these metrics is key to evaluating and improving your outreach strategy:

Proposals

The total number of proposals submitted from your agency’s freelancer profiles. This reflects your overall outreach activity and volume.

Replies

The number of client responses (interviews) received after proposals are sent. This indicates how relevant and compelling your proposals are.

Average Time

The average time between when a job is posted and when your proposal is submitted. This helps measure how quickly you respond to opportunities.

PVR (Proposal View Rate)

The percentage of submitted proposals that were viewed by clients. This metric reflects how effectively your proposals capture attention and stand out in the job feed. A trending badge updates every two hours, showing whether your view rate is improving or declining in near real time.

LRR (Lead Reply Rate)

The percentage of proposals that receive a client response. This is a key indicator of proposal quality and targeting accuracy. Like PVR, it includes a trend indicator that updates every two hours.

Scanner-Specific Metrics

When analyzing performance at the scanner level, additional metrics provide insight into efficiency and cost:

Bids

The total number of proposals sent by a specific scanner, reflecting its activity level.

Replies

The number of responses generated by that scanner’s proposals.

Connect spent

The total number of Upwork connects used by a scanner within a selected time period. This metric shows how many resources are being consumed and helps evaluate how aggressively a scanner is bidding. When compared with Replies and CPR, it provides valuable insight into efficiency.

CPR (Cost Per Reply)

The cost required to generate a single reply. It is calculated by dividing total expenses (including Upwork connects and GigRadar costs) by the number of replies received.

This metric helps you understand how cost-effective your bidding strategy is.

Score

The Score represents the overall quality of leads generated. It is distributed around a baseline of 50%, where scores above 50% indicate higher-quality opportunities. It considers factors like budget, client reputation, and job requirements.
