🧐 What are "Profile Views" and how does GigRadar count them?

The Profile Views on your Team Dashboard includes the number of clients who have viewed your profile on Upwork.

For Profile Views, GigRadar only counts profile views from search results and does not count the number of times a client has viewed your profile after you have submitted a proposal.

πŸ“ GigRadar displays Profile Views only for exclusive freelancers.

πŸ”’ What are "opportunities" displayed on my dashboard?

One opportunity = the job found by each scanner.

Opportunities displayed on your Team Dashboard specifies the number of opportunities (job postings), found by your scanner for the selected time range.

Opportunity Notifications refers to the job postings that you have received from Upwork for your team scanner. For more information about Opportunity Notifications and Opportunity Alerts, see What is Opportunity Notification?.

❓ Why is the number of opportunities different from the number of proposals?

The scanners are continuously scanning for opportunities, but not necessary that they are bidding for all these opportunities. There could be several reasons why the number of opportunities you are seeing are different from the number of proposals:

  • πŸš€ Auto-Bidding is not enabled: If you have setup the scanner, but have not enabled Auto Bidding, the scanner will search for jobs and display them in the Preview Results of your scanner.

    • It will however not apply to any of the jobs until you enable Auto Bidding.

    • It will also not apply for jobs that were posted prior to you enabling Auto Bidder.

  • πŸ” Bid already sent by another scanner: A higher-priority scanner has already sent a bid for this job. For more information, see πŸ”¨ Cross Bidding.

  • ❗ Error occurred: An error has occurred, which could be due to insufficient connects balance, an issue from Upwork, or an issue from GigRadar. For any GigRadar related errors or issues, contact your Customer Success Manager to resolve the issue.

πŸ“Ά What is "Relevance" shown on my dashboard, and how does it function?

Every scanner that you set up in GigRadar, has an Alerts tab that allows you to enable Opportunity Alerts. After you have enabled Opportunity Alerts, you will start receiving Slack or Telegram feeds with job postings from Upwork.

When you first launch Opportunity Alerts, the Relevance score is always at 100%, by default.

Every job feed that you receive in Slack or Telegram, has the option for you to Apply for the job or mark it as Irrelevant.

The Relevance score that appears on your Team Dashboard is lowered when you select Irrelevant in the feed.

You may want to redo a scanner if the Relevance score is low because it indicates that the scanner is searching for jobs that may not be relevant to you.
