GigRadar can send Autobidder notifications to Slack and Telegram whenever a specified autobidder event occurs, such as successful or failed applications.
If you're not receiving notifications, follow the steps below.
1. Verify Notifications Are Enabled
First, ensure that Autobidder notifications are turned on.
Navigate to Autobidder -> Notifications.
Confirm that the main notification toggle in the top-right corner is switched ON.
Select the events you want to be notified about:
Successful applications
Failed applications
If none of these options are selected, no notifications will be sent.
2. Reconnect Slack
If Slack notifications stop working, the connection token may have expired.
To reconnect:
In the Slack section, click Add to Slack.
Complete the Slack authorization process.
Select the workspace and channel where notifications should be delivered.
Reauthorizing Slack refreshes the connection and often resolves delivery issues.
3. Re-invite the GigRadar Bot to Slack Channels
The GigRadar bot must be present in any channel where notifications are sent.
If notifications are not appearing:
Open the target Slack channel.
Invite the GigRadar bot to the channel.
Verify that the bot appears in the channel member list.
If the bot does not have access to the channel, notifications cannot be delivered.
Verify Telegram Setup
For Telegram notifications:
Add @your Alert bot to your Telegram group or channel. Your bot you can find here:
Copy the Telegram subscription command displayed in the Telegram section.
Run the command in your Telegram group or channel.
Enable the desired notification types:
Successful applications
Failed applications
Notifications will not be delivered until the bot has been added and the subscription command has been executed successfully.
4. Test Notification Delivery
After completing the setup:
Enable at least one notification type.
Allow the autobidder to submit a test application.
Verify that the notification appears in Slack or Telegram.
Still Not Receiving Notifications?
Try the following:
Reconnect the Slack integration.
Re-invite the GigRadar bot to the Slack channel.
Confirm that the main notification toggle is enabled.
Verify that at least one notification event is selected.
For Telegram, ensure that @your allert bot has been added and the subscription command has been executed successfully.
