When we just started our journey, GigRadar has been using the Template Bidder feature, because it’s what we were limited to with our capabilities and workflows. In other words, our Business Managers were copying and pasting your cover letters and sending them as is.
Therefore, we’ve created a limitation for one scanner to allow submitting only one templated cover letter 300 times per month. This limitation of 300 jobs per month is a good incentive for our clients to use different cover letters for each scanner, tailoring them to target a specific job category.
💡Example:
Instead of having one scanner that covers all jobs with keywords like “SEO” or “React.js”, you can create well segmented scanners for each category.
✅ Good example:
In the following example image, the scanner is set up specifically to target “SEO” and “eCommerce”. It will show jobs that have the specified keywords.
❌ Poor example:
In the following example image, the scanner is targeting “SEO expert”, which is very vague and not specific to a job category such as eCommerce or health care. This is an example of poor segmentation.
Such scanners will display job postings that may not be relevant to you. In the example, it is also showing “Website designer and developer” jo, which may not be relevant.
Limitation for… Better control?
Having multiple segmented scanners for each job specification is highly recommended.
The more a scanner is segmented, the lesser jobs it will detect per month. This prevents the scanner from spamming the platform with copying and pasting the same cover letter for multiple job posts.
This helps you have better control and ownership on your scanner's performance. You will be able to better monitor their performance on the dashboard, and easily make fixes if needed such as remove ineffective scanners or change the filters that you have applied to the existing ones.
💡Example:
Let’s consider the following scenario:
🖨️ You have one scanner that targets all the “Full-Stack” related jobs.
📈 Upon monitoring the Auto Bidder performance on your GigRadar dashboard, you are seeing a low LRR (Lead Reply Rate).
👉 It is an indication that your scanner segmentation is poor, and you will need to improve your strategy.
🧐 AI and 300 job per month limitation
This limitation facilitates scanner segmentation, even when using Sardor AI!
Even though each AI letter is distinct and cannot be considered as a copied and pasted cover letter, this restriction encourages you to experiment with scanners and monitor their performance on the dashboard.

❓ FAQ
❓ Why do I have 300 jobs / month limitation? Is my account limited? Or is it the same for everyone?
The same limitation applies to all of GigRadar’s clients. You can submit a single Cover Letter template for each scanner a maximum of 300 times per month.
❓ What's the deal with the 300 jobs limitation? Will the Auto bidder turn off?
Currently, you cannot schedule Auto Bidding, if your scanner detects more than 300 jobs per month.
❓ If my scanner now detects less than 300 jobs, but in one week there will be more jobs on Upwork, so the scanner will be detecting more than 300, will it turn the Auto Bidder OFF?
Yes, it will. You will receive a notification that your Auto Bidder has been disabled due to overwhelming job postings.
❓ How to avoid disabling auto bidder due to exceeding 300 jobs / month?
The more a scanner is segmented, the lesser jobs it will detect per month.
