The Recent Proposals table is a performance tracking tool designed to help users monitor and refine their submission activity on Upwork. It offers a clear and structured overview of your most recent proposals, making it easier to evaluate effectiveness, identify patterns, and adjust your outreach strategy. For clarity and usability, the table displays up to 10 proposals at a time.

Key Fields Explained

Date

Displays the exact date and time when a proposal was submitted, including day, month, and year. This helps track submission timing and responsiveness to job postings.

Title

Shows the title of the job post you applied to. Clicking the title allows you to open the full job description directly on Upwork for deeper review.

Manager

Indicates the Business Manager associated with the proposal. You can click the name to view their Upwork profile from the client’s perspective.

Freelancer

Displays the freelancer who submitted the proposal. Clicking the name opens their profile on Upwork, allowing for quick evaluation of positioning and presentation.

Proposal Statuses

Each proposal is assigned a status to reflect its current stage in the client interaction process: Sent, Viewed, Chat, Boosted or Invited.

Sent - The proposal has been successfully submitted but has not yet been viewed by the client.

Viewed - The client has opened and read the proposal but has not responded.

Chat - The client has replied, and a conversation has been initiated.

Boosted - Additional connects were used to increase the proposal’s visibility.

Invited - The proposal was submitted in response to a direct invitation from the client, indicating a higher level of initial interest.

Feedback & AI Optimization

The table also includes a feedback mechanism that allows users to rate proposal performance as positive or negative. Providing detailed feedback helps improve system recommendations and ensures better alignment with your expectations over time.

By consistently reviewing results and sharing feedback, you enable smarter optimization and more effective proposal strategies moving forward.
