The “average hourly rate paid by client” refers to the typical amount that clients pay per hour for freelance services provided through the Upwork platform. This metric helps to understand the prevailing rates that clients are prepared to offer for different kinds of tasks. For example, in the below posting, the client pays an average hourly rate of $20.

Using GigRadar, you can set up your scanner to only search for jobs that fall in a specific average hourly rate. You can do that as follows:

  1. Go to the scanner’s Client Parameters by clicking on the Client filter.

  2. In the Hire Rate Stats section, in the Avg Hourly Rate Paid field, you can select the minimum and maximum values from the drop-down list or enter custom values.

  3. Click OK.
Your scanner will now only display the jobs that fall in the specified average hourly rate paid range.

📌 Tip: Check your scanner’s Preview Results to verify that the jobs that are displaying match the filters that you have applied. For more information, see 👀 Preview Results.
