Apply as freelancer lets GigRadar submit proposals from a freelancer's own Upwork account, not from your agency. You connect the freelancer's Upwork account once, and from then on a scanner can bid as that freelancer.
Until now, GigRadar has submitted proposals from your agency on Upwork (Apply as agency). That option stays exactly as it is. Apply as freelancer is an extra choice you can make per scanner.
Why use it
Clients see you. The proposal appears on Upwork as coming from your freelancer profile.
You stay in control. You approve the connection on Upwork yourself, you can see it in your Upwork account settings, and you can remove it at any time.
One connection, one freelancer. The Upwork account you connect is the account proposals go out from. If your team bids for several freelancers, each one connects their own account.

Who can use it
The feature is being turned on for teams gradually. If you don't see it yet, contact GigRadar Support and we'll enable it for your team.
The freelancer must be set up in your team's Profiles. Scanners only pick freelancers from there.
On the Free plan, connecting new freelancer accounts is temporarily unavailable.
