Apply filters to a scanner ✨

GigRadar offers various search filters that helps you to target the most appropriate jobs which matches your Upwork ICP. For instance, you can refine your search results by including or excluding specific keywords, opting for US-only job listings, specifying project duration, and selecting various client parameters for your scanner to target.

💡These instructions assume that you have already added your scanner. If you need to create a new scanner, see How to add a new scanner?.

To apply filters to your scanner:

  1. Click on the scanner that you want to add filters to.

  2. Click the Advanced filter to enter Advanced Search Options:

    1. Include keywords to search for specific jobs or exclude keywords to filter out irrelevant jobs.

    2. Click OK to save your filter settings.

  3. Click the Job Category filter to select the job category that corresponds to the type of jobs in the scanner:

    1. In the Job Categories field, select the job categories that you want this scanner to search for.

    2. Click OK to save your filter settings.

  4. Click the Project filter to Select Project Preferences.

    1. Specify the project details, like the budget such as the minimum hourly rate, duration and Hourly Workload.

    2. Click OK to save your filter settings.

  5. Click the Client filter to Select Client Parameters:

    1. Select various client parameters such as the client location you would like to work with or exclude the ones you do not want to work with, select client rating, client total spent, client hire rate, client company size, average hourly rate, client industry, and enterprise clients.

    2. Click OK to save your filter settings.

  6. Click the Vendor filter to select Vendor Preferences:

    1. Select the freelancer location, exclusive job openings, talent preference, and the experience level of the freelancer, and the freelancer's spoken languages.

    2. Click OK to save your filter settings.

  7. Click Save to save your scanner settings.
